Arabella's Romantic Garden

Emerging from the ground on one side of the garden, a bench meanders through the space delimitating the planting bed whilst providing a sitting area as it raises in its centre part.

A row of vertical wooden elements run alongside the North and Eastern boundaries. Both the spacing and height of these will vary, being denser and higher in areas where privacy is most required. The length of the elements ranges from 20cm to 140cm.

The planting scheme plays with flowering shrubs, perennials and bulbs in shades of soft pink, blue and cream. A large multi-stem specimen of Acer palmatum brings autumnal drama and frames a tranquil corner best enjoyed during the Spring and Summer months.
