With an extension of almost 4Ha and a budget of 3 Million Euros, Liebefeld park hosts open grasslands, tree lined avenues, sport facilities a semi-ornamental lake and a complex SUDS system consisting on interconnected water ponds planted with native species.  Special attention was given to ensure that the different planting plans reflected the diversity of native Swiss flora.

The park was awarded with the ‘Goldenen Hasen für gute Landschaftsarchitektur’, the Swiss national award for landscape architecture.
